Westminster Shorter Catechism Question 2

Q: What rule has God given to direct us how we should glorify and enjoy him?

A: The Word of God, which is contained in the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments, is the only rule to direct us how we may glorify and enjoy him.

Prayer

O thou who hast the hearts of all men in thine hand, form my heart according to the Word, according to the image of thy Son, so shall Christ the Word, and his Word be my strength and comfort. Amen.
